Leading with Values: Meet Our Culture Titans

Here at BitTitan, we subscribe to the idea that happy employees lead to happy customers. As an organization, we have a vision to foster an environment of engaged, empowered employees that results in zero turnover. While this may seem like a lofty bar, that’s the purpose of a vision: something seemingly unattainable in the distance, requiring small steps each day to get closer to that end destination.

One of those steps is the introduction of our Culture Titans team. Hand-picked from different divisions within BitTitan, the goal of this team is two-fold: to lead by example each day through BitTitan’s four company values; and to help ensure all new hires exemplify those values and will be a positive addition to our fast-growing team.

Before we meet our Culture Titans, let’s take a look at BitTitan’s core values.

Values Point North

It’s easy to come up with a list of values or characteristics to guide your organization; the harder part is demonstrating them on a daily basis through action. Like a compass that spends the entire journey tucked away in a backpack, values do an organization no good if they aren’t constantly referenced and measured against to validate our direction. From product roadmaps to customer support to employee development, these values help guide our behavior and business actions towards our ultimate vision: to be the world’s IT gateway.

Resting on the bedrock of these four values is our culture. It’s at the center of everything we do. We’re a team, family, and community that works hard and has fun doing it. We are committed to creating a transparent, collaborative, and fun environment that attracts people passionate about what we do and eager to contribute. This is where the Culture Titans come in.

Titans Assemble!

Like most fast-growing companies, we’re always looking to add more talent to our team. While a solid résumé sufficiently captures past work experience and education, interviewing for values can be much harder to nail down.

We ask a lot of our Culture Titans – they earn the title. Besides living BitTitan’s values each day, these individuals also commit to participating in interview circuits for potential new employees, ranging from entry-level college graduates through seasoned, higher-level executive hires. Job descriptions will be different. So will experience levels. Yet values are something we strive to make consistent across our organization, beginning with how we welcome new additions to the team.

We’ll be highlighting them individually, diving into their backgrounds, interests, and roles at BitTitan. If you’re looking for a new opportunity, check out some of our openings in Bellevue and Singapore here. Who knows, you might even run into a Culture Titan. It’s hard to tell, though. They don’t wear capes.
