  • General Sessions

    • The Future Requires Unlearning

Today, we live in a world where “constant change is the only constant.” New advances in technology bring forth exciting discoveries every day. But often lost in this new reality is the fact that organizations must unlearn old, obsolete knowledge and old ways of doing business, before they can seize tomorrow’s opportunities. Jack Uldrich—hailed by BusinessWeek as “America’s Chief Unlearning Officer”—explains why unlearning is a critical skill for your organization in this fascinating, informative, and interactive presentation, following open remarks from Geeman Yip, CEO of BitTitan.

    • BitTitan Today, BitTitan Tomorrow

We’ve come a long way since our early mailbox migration days; we’re “not your mamma's BitTitan" anymore. Since the initial launch of MSPComplete, we've observed that partners need more than their current toolbox can offer. IT service providers have been solving new problems with old solutions; it's time to go back to the future—with MSPComplete. See all the newest features and additional offerings from BitTitan. We’re packing in product announcements to blow your mind a mile higher.

    • The State (and Fate) of the IT Services Industry

Aaron Sherrill, Senior Analyst at 451 Research, will give us all a better understanding of the current state and trajectory of the IT services industry. Hear what MSPs are all saying but failing to do—including some hard truths. How are we to grow with automation and still focus on customer relationships? In a constantly changing industry, how do we get ahead and stay ahead of competition? What’s needed in strategy, service delivery, and our relationships—internally and externally—to be a true Modern MSP?

    • The Modern MSP on the Road to Automation

Dana Willmer, Founder and Principal at CloudSpeed, will help you benchmark and improve your MSP business with the help of his proprietary research on successful, early cloud adopters. Dana is joined by a panel of industry experts and MSP leaders to discuss the road to automation, the balance between automation and the human touch, and the transformation into a Modern MSP. Taking questions from the audience, the panel will demystify and shed light on some of the challenges that keep ITSPs awake at night.

    • The Future of Cloud

Join a discussion with Jeff Tench, CEO of New Signature, Eduardo Kassner, Worldwide Partner Group CTO at Microsoft, and Melissa Mulholland, Cloud Profitability Lead at Microsoft. As we’ll have learned during our time together at Elevate, the cloud has had a huge impact on the IT services industry. • 10 Steps to Verticalize Your Service Offering

Breaking into a vertical can be risky and challenging, but offers great rewards in business growth, from profits to intellectual property. In this session, we’ll explore how to assess the market opportunity and verticalize our services with minimal risk, fewer resources, and greater service delivery profitability. We’ll also look at how IT services can be specialized for healthcare, government, finance, education, and manufacturing.

    • Go to Market with New Services with Confidence

Expanding your portfolio with new services involves significant work and often, some risks. How do you invest time to choose the right services and learn new competencies without slowing down business? How can you quickly define new services and ensure sales and marketing are aligned with what your engineers can actually deliver? It’s time to lower the barrier of entry for adding new services to your lineup, and IT services veterans Todd Hussey, CEO of CSBexcellence, and George Mellor, CEO of KloudReadiness, will tell you how.
